Job description
1- Understands application business area and application requirements.
2- Familiar with test-program concerns including test data
management, trouble reporting and resolution, test design, and test
development.
3-Expertise in a variety of technical skills including programming
languages, database technologies, and computer operating systems.
4-Familiar with different test tools, defect-tracking tools, and other tools that supports the testing life cycle
5-Perform test execution, including functional (front-end and back-end), regression and integration tests
6-Write manual test cases/matrixes
7-Create test plans and test strategies
8-Report issues and create status reports
9-Work closely with Development team to isolate and resolve bugs/issues
10-Open/maintain case logs in defect-tracking system
11-Execute basic SQL queries for data verification
12-Generate test scripts using UNIX and SQL/PLSQL
Key responsibilities
1-Practical use of automation testing tools preferably HP Quick Test professional.
2-Performance testing experience is a plus.
3-Software test certificate is a plus (ISTQB, CSTE or tools certification).
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / Telecommunications major
- Minimum 2 to 3 years Experience.
- Telecom Billing Systems Experience (Preferred BSCS)
- Advanced UNIX scripting, SQL/PLSQL, Software Testing Experience
- Java Experience is a plus
- Advanced MS excel is required.
- Excellent in English language
- Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
