Supervise all maintenance and installation works related
to civil engineering works in the public area
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Attend handover
meetings of all newly developed public areas to ensure compliance with designs
and contract specifications
2. Coordinate scheduling of all routine maintenance works and ensure that all
works and requisitions of materials are completed in a timely manner and
support agreed on schedules
3. Supervise the maintenance scheduling of all different civil engineering
works related to the public area
4. Supervise in coordination with the contractor staff training and orientation
for the different systems
5. Develop (in coordination with Facility Management Company) the minimum
required inventory list (of all necessary spare parts) to ensure smooth
operation
6. Communicate with contractor in case of breakdowns in civil engineering
operations
7. Produce periodic reports on status of all scheduled and unscheduled
maintenance and repair works
8. Liaise and coordinate with other departments as needed
Education
:
B.Sc in civil engineering
Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years in the
supervision of similar operations
Skills
and Abilities :
• Flexibility to manage
unusual events as necessary
• Able to manage staff in a team-based, collaborative, and consensus-driven
environment
• Able to effectively organize, manage, and monitor staff, contractors,
consultants, and expenditures for assigned maintenance functions
• Able to write complete, concise, and coherent reports with recommendations
• Able to exercise sound independent judgment
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Perfect command of both spoken and written English and Arabic
• Able to develop effective and collaborative working relationships with
subordinate staff, fellow managers, and supervisors using principles of good
customer service
