Job description
To have the competencies of installing/Expand/audit GSM sites
according to Etisalat standards (all Telecom related activities) as well
as developing a weekly plan for all the subordinates to fulfill the
monthly communicated targets
Key responsibilities
-Leading, coaching and guiding installation teams to build , expand and maintain Etisalat Egypt GSM network.
-Managing all installation, integration and commissioning activities
for GSM/UMTS equipment from different vendor (Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE).
-Take the responsibility of managing the implementation activities
in the given area, report the status and updates to his superiors
-Following functional and drive test.
-Ensure the execution of given tasks in proper time frames
-Support team members technically and handling problems that may appear during the installation process.
-Coach, guide and train team members on installing all types of telecom equipments.
-Climb towers according to Etisalat safety policy and procedures
-Ensure safety of equipment and Etisalat Property
-Knowledge and ability to perform a tower rescue operation if needed for any colleagues working on towers.
-Inspect regularly the safety equipment of the team members (Harness, Robes, Descending tools?)
-Audit Installation tools of the team to verify its efficiency and durability and report any missing items to superiors.
-As built CAD drawing for installed sites
Qualifications
- B.Sc in telecom and electronics engineering
- 1-3 Years of experience in similar field
- - Good experience in the GSM , Microwave links and power systems.
- - Familiarity with different kinds of tools and hand working.
